Oregon just took a big step forward in securing their citizens, systems and data.
On September 20, 2017 Kate Brown signed Senate Bill 90 (SB 90) which fundamentally changes the cybersecurity landscape in Oregon.
This bill makes Oregonians safer by centralizing statewide cybersecurity functions, establishing a Cyber Center of Excellence that promotes innovation, information sharing and collaboration between public and private institutions and by building cybersecurity into the fabric of our communities.
Hueya, Inc. CEO had this to say about the signing ceremony of SB90, “It was an honor to be at the signing ceremony of SB90 with Governor Kate Brown. By signing this bill, the Governor and the State of Oregon put us at the head of the pack in the United States. Oregon is leading the US in cyber and we are excited to be a partner in making every Oregonian safe.”
